Welcome
to St Nicholas with St Barnabas, Weston-super-Mare
We are one Parish with two churches -
St Nicholas in the village of Uphill and St Barnabas on the Coronation Estate.
You will be welcome at both churches,
whether you are on holiday in the area, visiting
or looking for somewhere to worship the Lord regularly.
We believe that all people are in need of God's love, found in Jesus,
so we preach and practice a personal and communal commitment to the Lord Jesus.
As He said Himself,
"For God so loved the world that he gave His one and only Son,
that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."
John 3:16 NIV
We believe that Scripture is the authoratative Word of God
and as such it has a priority in our Parish life through teaching and preaching.
The Bible tells us:
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching,
rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness."
2 Timothy 3:16, NIV

St Barnabas Church, Westbury Crescent, BS23 4RB
St Barnabas Church is based on the Coronation Estate and also houses the Church Office.
The Church building was originally paid for by the local residents
who contributed a shilling a week in the 1960s.
Our desire is for it to be a hub of the community as well as a place of worship.
Currently there is a craft club every Monday morning,
table tennis sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings
and a monthly lunch club.
The Church has a large hall which can be booked for your event.
